This project is a modern version of the traditional Cycladic residence, incorporating architectural choices that respect the environment and highlight the natural beauty of the place. Designed with sustainability in mind, the building has a south-eastern orientation for optimal thermal insulation and shading, while it collects rainwater in tanks and uses high-tech thermal insulation frames. It is located in a low-rise area and adapts to the local aesthetics, with independent guest houses for more privacy. Construction details include locally sourced stone, wooden frames and traditional plasterwork, preserving the authentic character of the Cyclades with a modern approach.
